Join One Family Fund on its annual Cross Israel Hike, October 25-29, 2009. Be part of an incredible journey through the spectacular Southern Negev. Hike for five days over challenging, mountainous terrain through some of southern Israel’s most dramatic scenery. Experience Israeli culture and some well-deserved R&R, while staying at a friendly Kibbutz Guest House and a unique Eilat hotel experience. Participate in a variety of exciting and informative outings and excursions. Explore Israel in a most unique way!

Beginning in the Schoret Canyon, ascend to soaring heights through the majestic Arava Mountains and end the adventure with a well-deserved swim in the Red Sea near Eilat, sharing tales of beauty and challenges faced along the way. Everything will be provided: just bring your clothes, your hiking boots and your enthusiasm.

Sound great? It will be. Space is limited and will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis. We recommend that you reserve early as the 2008 hike sold out well in advance.

Your registration fee will cover all costs of the 5 days and 4 nights, including transportation to and from Jerusalem, accommodation and all meals. (Participants are responsible for their own airfare.) Each participant will be asked to raise a minimum of $2,500 in donations supporting One Family Fund which provides direct financial, medical, psychological and emotional assistance to victims of terrorism in Israel to help rebuild their shattered lives, one family at a time.

**With limited spaces available for this year’s Cross Israel Hike, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. In response to the high demand, we have reserved additional accommodations at a neighbouring Kibbutz Guest House. While any new registrants will be staying at the second Kibbutz Guest House, all hikers will be participating in the same daily and evening activities together. If you are interested in registering, please contact us at hike@onefamilyfund.ca
