Canada Youth Retreat

The Canada Youth Retreat (formerly Canadian Cottage Experience) is a project of OneFamily Fund Canada which brings religious victims of terror (along with a counselor) from Israel to Toronto. The program pairs up the groups from Israel with local volunteers who organize a genuine Canadian summer experience over 7-10 days.

The purpose of the program is to provide these victims of terror with a “graduation” and respite experience as they move out from the full support that One Family Fund provides to victims of terror in Israel and prepare for the next stage of their lives. The program includes days on the water in cottage country, day trips to Wonderland, Niagara Falls, and other local attractions depending on the year, and regular davening and learning as part of the schedule.

Due to the current situation in Israel, we have undertaken to expand the program for Summer 2026 from one group of 6-7 boys to include 2 separate groups of 6-7 boys each AND a group of 6-7 girls, each with their own counselor.

All donations are tax-receiptable and will go towards covering the costs of the program, including airfare, activities, meals, and other expenses.

This program is being run as a zchus for a Refuah Sheleimah for Chaya Shira Roiza bas Ayala Malka, a young girl who recently had a heart transplant.
