Join us for the 2014 Sea to Sea Hike in Northern Israel, from October 26 – 30, 2014.
We will begin our five-day hike through Northern Israel’s Upper Galilee at the white chalk hills of Rosh Hanikra by the Mediterranean Sea, and finish our magnificent journey at the Sea of Galilee.
We will hike through Nachal Kziv in the Western Galilee, beneath the ruins of the majestic Montfort Fortress. Our hiking trails will wind along flowing streams, through lush forests of unique flora and fauna. As we hike, we will observe a variety of cultures including the Druze village of Hurfeish, as we make our way to Mount Meron.
As we traverse the Summit Trail of Mount Meron, Israel’s second highest mountain, we will enjoy spectacular views of the upper Galilee. Passing the burial place of the famous Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, we will walk alongside the Amud River, finally completing our Sea to Sea journey with a triumphant splash in the Sea of Galilee.
