September 20, 2008: UWO Students Organize “One Party for Israel”

On the night of Saturday, September 20, 2008, over 400 Jewish students at the University of Western Ontario came together at an exciting Israel-themed fundraising evening with proceeds going to One Family Fund.

Western campus groups AEPi, PiLam, Hillel and IOC teamed up to organize one of the biggest, most exciting events ever. Many party-goers sported blue and white attire as a show of solidarity with Israel while they enjoyed Israeli food, drinks and more.

July 2008: Camp Timberlane

In 2008, One Family Fund brought 20 Israeli kids and two counselors to Camp Timberlane in Haliburton for a month. There, they participated in all the camp activities, formed new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime, and enjoyed the warm, supportive environment of the camp.
