Fundraising Commitment

Each participant of the OneFamily Israel Journey must raise a minimum of $3,600 to benefit OneFamily. Most people find this easy, and many participants go on to raise double or triple this amount. Those aged 30 and younger have a reduced fundraising target of $1,800.

Participants should fulfil their fundraising commitment by the time the Journey begins. However, fundraising pages will remain open until December 13, 2024, when participants will need to ensure their fundraising commitment has been met and completed.

Each registrant will be guided through step-by-step instructions for creating a personal fundraising web page (or we can create one for you). When your fundraising page has been activated, your fundraising progress will be automatically updated.

To help you reach your goal, we suggest the following:

  • Email a link to your personal page to friends, family and co-workers
  • Post updates on your Facebook page, and photos of you “training” on your Instagram page. Tweet, blog, and talk about your progress. Use our hashtag #onefamilyjourney
  • If you have friends or colleagues with companies that may be prepared to sponsor the hike for name recognition, please direct them to us at the OneFamily office.
