Fees & Schedule
The
fees are as follows:
To participate
with One Family at the 2013 dragon boat festival the Trip
fee is $1325 per person. The Trip fee includes
ground travel once in Israel and accommodations. A deposit of $250 is due upon registering, with the balance due March 25, 2013. Airfare is extra,
see flight options below.
Each participant (Paddler) is required to raise a minimum of $1,800 for One Family Fund. We will be glad to provide assistance with your fundraising efforts.
- At the $5,000 fundraising level
(Donate or Raise) you may CAPTAIN a boat
- At the $2,500 fundraising level (Donate or Raise) you can be a DRUMMER/Stroke Setter
- If you are unable to participate on the trip but wish to sponsor a victim of terror to Paddle a $1,000 donation is required

** Your trip fee of $1,325 reflects double occupancy in a deluxe hotel room at the Sheraton Hotel Tel Aviv on the nights of May 6 & 7 and a “Nature Cabin” at the Ramot Resort on May 8, 9 & 10. For an upgrade to a “Chalet Deluxe Suite” at the Ramot Resort there is an additional charge of $67 per night, based on double occupancy.
Single supplement fees are as follows;
- Sheraton Hotel Tel Aviv - $138 per night
- Ramot Resort Nature Cabin – $123 per night
- Ramot Resort Chalet Deluxe Suite - $155 per night
Room Descriptions at the Ramot Resort;
- Nature Cabin
- Jacuzzi bath, 32-inch LCD screen, a separate room with TV, sitting area, refrigerator, coffee corner, terrace and pergola, garden around each cabin.
- Chalet Deluxe Suite
- Jacuzzi bath, dry sauna, hydro-massage shower jets, fireplace, King size bed, 42-inch plasma screen, coffee maker, DVD machine, surround sound system, Internet connection, a separate room with TV, balcony and private garden, Golan wineries wine bottle, chocolates, romantic candles, natural soaps, bath robes, slippers and more.
All funds are quoted in Canadian dollars

Note:
For participants that depart early morning on Sunday (12:50 a.m.)
May 12, there is no need for a hotel room on the Saturday night,
May 11 (check out would be on Saturday)
* Reservations must be made prior to Feb. 28, 2013 at which time any remaining seats (in our group block) will be released for general sale. Reservations can still be made after Feb. 28th, but will be subject to availability and prices may change.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all participants have comprehensive travel insurance. YYZ Travel also offers full comprehensive insurance, including trip cancellation (which we strongly recommend), medical and baggage insurance through RBC Insurance. Trip cancellation and package insurance must be purchased at time of booking. Medical and baggage insurance can be purchased at any time.
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS IN ISRAEL
Routes Travel is the official travel agency of the Dragon Boat / One Family Israel Experience. Please do not contact the One Family Fund office with respect to pre or post hike activities and/or reservations. Also, if you are interested in room upgrades or alternative lodging pre and post Dragon Boat, please contact Routes as well.
Pre-Dragon Boat:
A special block of rooms is being held as follows:
- The Sheraton Hotel Tel Aviv, Deluxe Rooms, May 4-6, with a minimum 2 night stay:
- $299 U.S. single occupancy; $322 U.S. double occupancy (including breakfast)
- Reservations should be made by April 3, 2013 after which time bookings will still be accepted through Routes based on availability
Post-Dragon Boat:
A special block of rooms is being held as follows:
- The Ramot Resort, May 11, Chalet Deluxe Suite:
- $354 U.S. single occupancy; $398 U.S. double occupancy (including breakfast & Dinner)
- Reservations should be made by April 3, 2013 after which time bookings will still be accepted through Routes based on availability
